WiP it! Now WiP it good!

Today I'm getting WiPped! This is a screen shot of my Work in Progress, which is a digitally colored version of my arctic circle piece. My cat is very distraught because she wants to sit on my lap and her head is wet. I need some sort of mount for my table so I can have it off my lap and elevated above my keyboard for comforts sake.

On the upper left I have a montage of the two versions of the piece, with a white base layer and a teal base layer. I went with the latter because it seems more accurate to me...whatever that means.

New to do more digital art

If I want to get out of retail, I just have to accept it: I have to learn digital stuff. Here are two attempts. Well, technically one, but two versions.
I have a thing for dinosaurs and drew this to make me feel better after I found out that my very most favorite artist James Gurney, creator of DINOTOPIA was at LCAD. *sob*

I really really need to get into a habit of posting more
